Prof. Peter Tan
Background:
Prof. Peter Tan is a professor of the International MBA Program (IMBA) by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Webster University. As a Singaporean trained from CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK) Member of the Chartered Institute ofMarketing (CIMUK), who holds an MBA from Australia and a Masters of Science in International marketing from UK, he has accumulated over 25 years of industry experience in the area of marketing, branding & communications. He has worked in the Asia Pacific region for international marketing communication groups HAVAS & WPP. His last position was the regional North Asia head for marketing in NOL- APL & APL Logistics - a global shipping and logistic firm. Prof. Tan has been stationed in China for at last 18 years, doing strategic marketing, consulting, branding and communication work, with sound understanding of working culture and customs in China and around Asia.
